When we lead others, we focus a lot of our attention on external factors. But when our focus is continually directed outward, when do we take the time to focus on self – our own self-leadership.
One definition of resilience is “the ability to bounce back”. Maybe we must do more than just bouncing back, maybe we also need to think about bouncing forward.
Every situation can be divided into two circles: the circle of concern, which consists of factors we have little or no influence over, and the circle of influence, which is made up of things we can control.
We all have inbuilt resilience but that it often takes different approaches to find it and use it . We’ve put together five examples that might work for you.
